OFFICIALS - GAMES SCHEDULING PAGE

OPEN GAMES PAGE ! READ AND UNDERSTAND DUTIES AND REQUIRMENTS FOR RECEIVING GAME ASSIGNMENTS

 SCHEDULING OF GAMES

Registration with affiliated sanctioned league, association or team does not guarantee game assignments.  Officials are responsible to obtain their own game assignments from local game schedulers as designated in each ARENA.

You MUST however be registered with the affiliated sanctioning body to work assignments falling under their jurisdiction. These include but are not limited to:  USA Hockey, MHSAA, MAHA, AAU, etc.

You are required to provide and keep on file with us a copy of current registration for each sanctioning organization that you wish to work for.

Only completely registered officials are eligible to officiate sanctioned games.  Any game scheduler who assigns improperly or incompletely registered officials for games that are not within the guidelines set forth by the affiliated organization jeopardizes the insurance coverage of the officials and both teams involved.

If you were a registered official for the 2010 - 2011 season your current credentials are good until

USA Hockey/MAHA - November 30, 2011

MHSAA - July 18, 2011

AAU - information pending

Current 2011 - 2012 Games Scheduling  - Updated - May 17, 2012 - 1:00pm

Do not apply for games above your capabilities....

   Current Week Openings:

READ THIS - Best chances for assignment is request by date/time blocks.  Specific game requests

will lessen your chances.  For those of you who make very specific requests with no altenative of availability. UNDERSTAND

to me this means you want NOTHING else.  FOR INSTANCE - If we get 10 specific requests for one game - 8 others are left hanging because

you gave me no other options to assign games to you !

SPRING HOCKEY !

NOTE - that during the spring the web page is not updated on a daily basis !

ONCE YOU ACCEPT an assignment - YOU are responsible for its coverage.  If you are unable to make the assignment

you must find a replacement of equal or higher capability official.

Missed assignments will jeopardize any already assigned games and future assignments.

In cases of game cancellations we make every effort to contact the official.  Be sure to check your email prior

to departure on assignments.  In cases, of short notice we will attempt to reach you via phone.

Unlike the regular season, spring schedules

are volatile and we cannot guarantee recovering game fees should a game cancel and you show up for that assignment.

Spring teams often use parents for submitting games and forget to cancel.  You take assignments acknowledging this notice.

NOTE !  - KENSINGTON VALLEY SPRING HOUSE "KV SP" is paid via check about a week after the conclusion of each

month.  If you can't wait for your game fee(s) do not take any of these games.

Kensington Valley Spring JV "JV SP" are paid via check the following week.
