Notice All referees are reminded that game assignments are based on performance, and adherence to the “New Standard”. Working hard, maintaining the “New Standard” to the best of your ability, having a good attitude and good presence on the ice will result in the continued opportunity to officiate games.
2011/2012 Scheduling (click here for quick link) as of the posted date and time. Some slots may have already been assigned from responses already received. Submit your requests, availabilities and based on the appropriate USA or Little Caesar's guidelines. Requests should be in the form of the date and time frame you are available for assignments. Specific requests (other than those posted games as singles or by the scheduling guidelines) will be ignored. This will again be explained in each of our local officials meetings. Game confirmations will be sent to your email address for games scheduled . Once received, you must review and acknowledge back to us that we are all in agreement, return any game's) in conflict. Remember, once you accept the games - they will be your responsibility for coverage. NEVER - replace a game assignment with a less qualified or underage official! Important Notice: If you take an assignment and it has been confirmed back to you - you are responsible to find an equivalent or higher level official to cover if you cannot make an assignment in an emergency situation. Time permitting - you must return the game back to the scheduler for re-assignment. NO EXCEPTIONS ! Missing of confirmed game assignments will remove you from future game assignments. Notifying us - we will attempt to find a replacement in such cases, however, this does not relieve you of the assignment until a confirmation has been issued by us. If you find a replacement, you must notify us of the person replacing you for approval. If due to your failure in making an assignment, resulting in the game to be cancelled or postponed. YOU may be responsible for ice and/or official fees on any make up game. Any determination will be made on a case by case basis. The scheduler is not held responsible for missed assignments nor accuracy of the games assignments. In the case of game cancellations in which reasonable notification could not be made, where the officials have arrived at the rink for game assignments. The scheduler will attempt to collect the game fees from the league on their behalf but is not held responsible. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the officials in the case of game cancellations where the scheduler has had adequate notice.
****NOTE - READ***** There is always a possibility of changes in the scheduling. If any of your game's are affected, you will be notified via your email address within a reasonable time frame, in short notice instances you will be phoned. It is always a good idea to check your email prior to leaving for any assignment! 2010 - 2011 Winter Program: ADULTS are needed to mentor these officials. If you are interested in mentoring - let us know.
